Marni Wieshofer
Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Mergers and Acquisitions
Marni Wieshofer is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at MRC. Ms. Wieshofer is responsible for identifying and developing new entertainment ventures and strategic acquisitions for the studio. Prior to MRC, Ms. Wieshofer was the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Lionsgate Entertainment (previously CFO), where she orchestrated Lionsgate’s acquisition and integration of Trimark Pictures, Artisan Entertainment, Redbus Films Distribution UK, Debmar/Mercury and Mandate Pictures. She also oversaw the sale of the studio facilities and the Canadian distribution business and served as a member of the structuring and negotiating teams that closed several debt facilities. Previously, Ms. Wieshofer was Vice President of Finance at Alliance Atlantis Communications, where she took Alliance public in the U.S., was a member of the deal team that facilitated the Alliance Atlantis merger and several debt and warrants offerings.
